Conclusions:
The prospective model was unable to accurately segregate patients into high vs. low risk groups. However, in the patients with relatively good pre-RT PFTs, the dosimetric/functional parameters alone remain predictive of RP, as previously reported. Additional work is needed to better identify, and prospectively assess, predictors of RT-induced lung injury. Supported by NIH R01 Grant CA69579. Thanks to UNC for PLUNC software.
