About the Presenter:
Dr. McElveen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stetson University in 1995. She attended medical school at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed Radiation Oncology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where she received excellent training in 3-D conformal radiation as well as cutting edge technology IMRT, brachytherapy and stereotactic radiation. Dr McElveen is published in major journals and text books in the areas of prostate cancer and brain tumors and has spoken at both national and international oncology meetings. Dr McElveen is currently in private practice at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
