About the Presenter:
Rachel Rabinovitch is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Colorado Cancer Center. She completed her Radiation Oncology training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1993. After serving as a faculty member at Mount Sinai Medical Center for 1 year, she moved to Colorado and joined the University of Colorado Cancer Center's Department of Radiation Oncology in 1994. Her clinical and research focus are in breast cancer and lymphoma. She is an active member of RTOG, and serves as PI for her department's full membership status within that organization. She is a co-PI for the randomized accelerated partial breast radiation trial (RTOG 0413) which is currently open to accrual. She serves on numerous national committees including Chair of the American College of Radiology's Practice Guideline for the Performance of Total Body Irradiation - 2005, panel member on the American College of Radiology Expert Panel on Radiation Oncology, Breast Work Group, 1995-present, and member of the International Working Group on Breast MRI, Local Breast Cancer Staging, Member, 1999-present. Rachel lives in Denver with her husband and 3 children.
