About the Presenter:
Weiguo Lu was born and raised in China. He got his B.S and M.S degrees in nuclear physics from Peking University in 1995 and 1997 respectively. He received a M.S degree in medical physics and a M.S degree in computer sciences from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999 and 2000 respectively. He got his Ph.D. in medical physics from University of Wisconsin-Madison in August 2001. Dr. Lu is currently a senior physicist in TomoTherapy Inc. His research interests include medical image registration and segmentation, motion detection and correction, and IMRT optimization.
