About the Presenter:
Dr. Dempsey is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida. After obtaining his doctorate in nuclear chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis, he transitioned into the field of radiotherapy medical physics where he has obtained over $1.65 million in research funding as a PI from federal, state, and corporate research grants and co-authored over 65 peer reviewed manuscripts. He is the inventor of the technology that is being presented at this meeting and is guiding the scientific and technical aspects of this development.
