About the Presenter:
Yadvindera (Bobby) Bains M.D. is the only board certified Radiation Oncologist in Laredo. He obtained a Bachelors Degree in Electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin prior to enrollment into the Medical school at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He did his internship at the University Hospital in San Antonio. His residency training in Radiation Oncology was done at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He served as Chief Resident and received the Roentgen Resident Research award in 1999. Dr. Bains is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is the Principal Investigator of a National Cancer Institute (NCI) research Program evaluating cancer in the Hispanic population.
